About Us

Bob Johnson got his first taste of the working world as an 8-year-old kid in his dad's humble gas station at the corner of Grant and York streets. The native Wichitan opened Johnson's Furniture and Mattress in 2000 in the former Norris Brothers Lumber building at 3400 Jacksboro Highway. Johnson's is a family owned and operated business ran by Bob's wife Gayle and his son Jeremy.
