Dr. Sandra Vergara was born in Cali, Colombia. She received her DDS degree and completed a 4 year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Escuela Colombiana de Medicina, Universidad El Bosque, in Bogota, Colombia. Following this, she completed a fellowship at Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and a second residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Dr. Vergara and her team understand the importance of developing relationships through quality individualized care and attention to detail, using the latest technology and resources. She practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery.
