Cool-Temp Siding & Window Company is one of the largest and oldest family owned and operated Home Improvement companies in Texas and Oklahoma. Edward L. McAlvain, a native Oklahoman, founded Cool-Temp Siding Company in 1961. Mr. McAlvain was the first to provide USS Steel Siding as a permanent solution to the painting needs of area homeowners.

Mr. McAlvain expanded Cool-Temp’s products and services into the Southern Oklahoma market and established Cool-Temp of Lawton Oklahoma in 1975.

The second generation of McAlvains, Eddie McAlvain II, was brought on board as General Manager in 1990. Eddie McAlvain II currently directs all siding and window sales, warehouse inventories, and application personnel.
