Texoma's Home Page launched April 10, 2007, KFDX 3 signed on as an NBC affiliate on April 12, 1953. KJTL signed on as an independent station in 1985 and began broadcasting as a FOX affiliate in 1987. KJBO signed on in 1988. The KFDX/KJTL serves approximately 381,000 people in the Wichita Falls DMA consisting of 16 counties in Texas and Oklahoma. KFDX is owned and operated by Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc. and KJTL/KJBO is operated by KFDX under various services agreements with Mission Broadcasting, Inc.
Nexstar owns 36 stations in 32 markets. We provide services to 19 stations in 17 markets. Therefore, We own or provide services to 55 broadcast television stations and 31 community portal websites located in 32 markets in 14 states, reaching approximately 10.6 million television households, or approximately 9.3% of all USTVHH according to Nielsen.
