TAFFY Fund Raiser for Cooks Childrens Hospital

Cook Children's Hospital benefit began in 1999 with 100 guests, raising $3500 which was donated to Cook Children's Medical Center General Fund to help children with ancillary needs that supported the child and family during extended medical stays. In 2006, the name changed to TAFFY and the money became "earmarked" for OUR children (residing within an 80 mile radius of the Elks Lodge #1105). Each year, we assisted more than 100 families and expanded to assist our families at United Regional Health Care System. The social services departments at both facilities will assist the family to access all resources available and often times that will be this account.
Who: The Public is invited
What: Bike Run, Dinner, Dance, Live and Silent Auctions
• Bike Run @ $15 per rider or $20 per couple (dinner included) Register at 2pm. first bike out at 3pm, last bike in at 5pm
• Dinner, Dance, Auctions ~ $10 per person or Reserve a table of 8 for $75. El Grande Mexican Buffet served at 6pm
• Live entertainment by Greg Gibbs and Friends
